Karen Evans is the Managing Director of the Cyber Readiness Institute (CRI), bringing over 30 years of experience in cybersecurity, national security, and technology innovation. A three-time Presidential appointee and Senate-confirmed executive, she has held pivotal roles at the U.S. Department of Energy, Department of Homeland Security, and the Office of Management and Budget. The Cyber Readiness Institute is a non-profit initiative that convenes business leaders from across sectors and geographic regions to create free cybersecurity tools for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).  Karen’s leadership at CRI focuses on empowering small and medium-sized organizations with resources to enhance their cybersecurity and secure global value chains.
